On this tour, you'll have the chance to explore the scenery and villages of the Lasithi Plateau.
You'll begin your tour at Kastamonitsa, where you'll be able to stroll through the village's streets before stopping at a local café for traditional coffee. After leaving the town, you'll continue past the Agia Anna Monastery before reaching the Limnakaro Plateau. You'll be able to see mitata stone refuges used by shepherds before continuing to the iconic Cave of Zeus. You can explore the cave's rock formations, regarded as the birthplace of Zeus in Greek mythology, before stopping at a local restaurant for a traditional Cretan lunch.
After lunch, you'll descend from the plateau and pay a visit to the village of Krasi. Here, you'll have the opportunity to view a nearby plane tree believed to be over 2,000 years old, along with seeing the area's natural spring.
