On this guided hike, you will get a chance to climb Pacaya, one of the most active volcanoes in Guatemala. You will leave Guatemala City for San Vicente Pacaya which will be a one-and-a-half-hour trip. The hike to the top of the volcano will only take one-and-a-half-hour as it is one of the easiest hikes in Guatemala. If you are lucky, you can see lava rivers and lava coals from close quarters as well as other volcanoes in the vicinity.

For additional charges, participants have the option to rent a horse which will take them to the top of the volcano. The cost of horse rental is GTQ 150.
