On this half-day, guided Bethlehem tour, you’ll visit Biblical landmarks in Beit Sahour. Firstly, you’ll visit the Shepherds' Field Chapel. You’ll discover that this Roman Catholic church marks the place where it is believed that the angels first announced Christ’s birth. Next, you’ll visit the Milk Grotto Church. You’ll discover that this is where the Holy Family is believed to have taken refuge. You’ll also learn that the church was named after a belief that a fallen drop of the Virgin Mary’s milk turned the cave white. You’ll then visit the Church of the Nativity. You’ll discover that this church was built by Emperor Constantine in the 4th century CE. You’ll also view the church’s grotto which is believed to be the birthplace of Jesus.
