For this evening tour, you’ll gain insight into the culture and spirituality of Varanasi as you sail down the Ganges, passing ghats and experiencing the Hindu ritual of aarti, where light is offered to various deities.
You’ll be in a boat on the river, and from here, you can watch the devout making their offerings at the Dashashwamedh Ghat, with precise choreography performed by priests to the sounds of bells, drums, cymbals and Sanskrit mantras. You’ll also visit Manikarnika Ghat, the main location for cremation ceremonies.
