Located just a few kilometres from Caserta, Santa Maria Capua Vetere lies today where the ancient Roman city of Capua once existed. At the Anfiteatro Campano e Museo dei Gladiatori archaeological site, you'll be able to discover the prosperous past of Capua accompanied by an archaeologist.

You will meet your guide at the entrance of the site, to embark on a journey into history. Visits to an ancient Roman amphitheatre, a hidden Mithraeum and third-century frescoes will all be included in your tour.
