Duration: 1 hour
This one-hour class will introduce you to the Okinawan way of dyeing fabric. During the workshop at Shuri Ryusen, a skilled artisan will teach you the art of making design patterns using corals – locally associated with happiness, prosperity and longevity. As you design your own t-shirt or handbag, you’ll also have an opportunity to learn more about Okinawan culture and lifestyle.
