This tour presents three main attractions of the city of Almaty.
Medeu:
Start your day with a visit to Medeu, the highest and largest outdoor ice skating rink in the world. At the moment the stadium is closed, but we can walk around it and, if we’re lucky, feed the squirrels.
Shymbulak:
We will go to the famous ski resort Shymbulak by cable car (cost is not included). Enjoy the views as you climb through the stunning scenery of the Trans-Ili Alatau mountains. You can try horse riding (the cost is not included). You will have two hours to explore 3 stops at the Shymbulak and take pictures with the glacier.
Lunch: at a local cafe
Koktobe:
Continue your adventure with a visit to Koktobe, a mountain that translates to “Green Hill” in Kazakh. There are various attractions, souvenir shops, restaurants, and observation decks here.
