This three-four hour adventurous tour will take you on a bike ride through the Hanthana Mountain Range.
After the hotel pickup, you will be transferred to a point, one kilometer before the Ceylon tea museum. You will then begin your bike ride through the tea plantations, taking in scenic views and stopping for photographs. After riding for a while, the trail will divert to a gravel terrain, which is a mix of climbs and descends. While riding, you can see the tea plucking activities.
The gravel sections has a loop back and you can then choose; to ride from a more challenging terrain and descend to Peradeniya, or ride back through the same road and reach Heerassagala junction. You will continue riding to a traditional food centre for an authentic meal experience. After the short break, you will ride along the Mahaweli River and finish off at Dodanwala Tunnel.
