During this full-day tour, you will visit the Sigiriya Rock Fortress, which is a UNESCO world heritage site. Here you can spend time exploring archeological history and admire the famous rock paintings whose colours have not faded overtime.
After visiting the Rock Fortress, you can head to Sigiriya Museum to view some pieces of the area’s history before heading to Sigiriya to experience a village tour. You will be able to enjoy the villagers’ traditional way of living and understand their culture through engaging in some of their activities such as an oxen cart ride, a catamaran ride and a walk through the fields. You’ll also learn to cook traditional Sri Lankan food in the village, then finish off with a buffet lunch.
