On this full-day guided tour, you’ll set out to discover some of the most noteworthy tourist spots in Myanmar’s second-largest city, Mandalay. You’ll begin by visiting a gold-leaf-making factory and learn how this exclusive industry is thriving in the city. Next, you’ll get to see a 2000-year-old Buddha statue at the Mahamuni Pagoda.
Then you will visit a wood carving workshop before making your way through the narrow alleys of the Jade Market. Next, you’ll visit several monasteries and pagodas such as Shwe In Bin Monastery, Eindawya Pagoda, Shwekyimyint Pagoda, Shwenandaw Monastery, Atumashi Monastery, Kuthodaw Pagoda, Kyauktawgyi Pagoda and Kusinara Pagoda. Here you’ll see some fine teakwood artwork and get to learn more about the culture, history, religion and architecture of the city.
Finally, you’ll head to Mandalay Hill viewpoint to observe picturesque city views at sunset. Then you’ll be dropped back at your hotel.
