On this tour, you’ll journey into the jungle to the ancient Mayan village of Chacchoben, where your guide will give you historical and cultural insights. You’ll also sample Mayan cuisine.
With your guide, you’ll explore the remains of pyramid temples and landmarks that were built between 700 BCE and 200 CBE. After seeing the highlights of Chacchoben, descendants of the village will teach you about ancient Mayan cooking techniques. You’ll also get to try a variety of Mayan dishes.
