On this two-hour safari-style tour, you'll get to explore the cork forests of the Alentejo. You'll head off in the forest by Jeep, accompanied by your guide who will be a local archaeologist and conservationist. Along the way, they'll share insight into cork trees and the cork cycle. You'll also learn about the local fauna and flora, honey production, vineyards, Iberian pig fattening and olive groves. You'll then return to the farmhouse, where you'll have time to browse the gift shop. Later on, you'll be treated to a cork stripper's traditional three-course meal in a quiet family-run restaurant.
