On this tour, you’ll get to be up close with the wildlife of Crystal River National Wildlife Refuge. You’ll arrive at the dive shop and try out your wetsuits before watching an introductory video by US Fish and Wildlife. Your US Coast Guard licensed guide will then take you to the boat and relay safety instructions and details on interaction with the manatees underwater.
You’ll then wear your masks and snorkels while transiting to the swim area as the guide shares information about the wildlife in the region. Once you reach the swim area and sight manatees, the boat will be anchored and you’ll be led into the water for your encounter. Your guide will stay with the group the entire time to make sure that you get a good sighting experience. You can also get your photos and videos clicked to take back as memories.

Please note that during winter, temperatures, especially in the morning, could be quite cold. Please bring towels and appropriate warm clothing to change into after your swim.
