To begin this self-guided walking tour, you will download the audio app on your mobile device. Then, you will listen to Rob Wickens, founder of Love of the Central Coast, as he introduces you to what is often ranked the “Happiest City in America.” You will begin at the Ah Louis Store and continue through the Mission Plaza. Guided by GPS, you will pass by the History Center of San Luis Obispo County, Downtown SLO Farmers’ Market, Granada Hotel and Bistro and Fremont Theater. During the tour, you will learn facts and visit a variety of attractions that include Bubblegum Alley and the world’s smallest Chinatown.
