This driving tour will allow you to see and learn about the important landmarks of the Civil War's 1863 three-day Battle of Gettysburg. Your drive and narration will begin from the Gettysburg Heritage Center or the National Park Visitor's Center. Along the way, some of the essential places you'll see include McPherson's Ridge and Valley of Death. You’ll also pass through Wheatfield and the Trostle family farm.
You'll visit memorials, such Eternal Light Peace Memorial and the State of Pennsylvania Monument, built in remembrance of over 30,000 fallen soldiers. There will also be several towers to see, such as Oak Ridge Observation Tower and Culp's Hill Tower.
The tour will bring you all the way to the culmination at Pickett's Charge before your final stop at the National Cemetery, where Abraham Lincoln famously delivered the Gettysburg Address.
