Towering over the island of Maui and visible from almost every part of the island, Maui's Haleakalā Crater offers breathtaking views, Mars-like red deserts and a whole range of native flora and fauna.
This guided, four-mile hiking tour will give you the opportunity to discover this ethereal spot and enjoy the views from over 10,000 feet. During the course of the tour, you'll hike down and back up the Sliding Sands Trail, which begins at the 10,023 foot summit of the crater. You'll then hike along the Halemau'u Trail – a steep and narrow path down to the floor of the crater.
