The stay in Ibrahim’s house boat was an experience we will never forget. From the beginning on it was very convenient to stay in contact with Ibrahim and plan every step of our journey. Once we arrived we took a little boat to the floating house and were blessed with a stunning view of the Dal lake and the mountains in the background. Ibrahim and his family welcomed us very friendly. We didn’t have to worry about anything. Boat trips, money exchange, included breakfast or home cooked dinner in kashmiri style, everything was taken care of. In the evening Ibrahim told us the history of Kashmir and its people. An arranged boat took us to floating markets giving us the opportunity to see and purchase amazing handmade crafting. Ibrahims care was more than we could hope for. All in all it was a trip and experience we will never forget. Many thanks to Ibrahim and his family.

The best houseboat in Dal lake with great view of mountains mr Imran arranged our local tour packages and boat ride in Dal lake on a very reasonable rates food was great ,spacious rooms with beautiful wood carved furniture really enjoyed my stay at Zaindari palace I will definitely recommend to stay here

I had a wonderful stay at Tashkand houseboat during winter season in January 2023. Musa, the houseboat owner, is very helpful and provide very good service. Dinner at Tashkand was our best dining in Kashmir as it's fresh meat, homemade, and no MSG. If you stay here I recommend trying 1 dining at his place. The place is clean and tidy. There's towels and amenities provided. There s no heater in the bedroom but it's replaced with warmed electric blanket which works very well to keep you warm at night, especially in winter. There are free shikara ride across to main road if you paid for shikara ride trip the first or second day. It's a special deal that the houseboat made with shikara riders so you will get the best deal and save money if you get shikara trip. It was the memorable, affordable house boat price. What a nice experience I got here in this boathouse!!! This was such a relaxing and beautiful environment, this family who runs the business are so nice and funny!!! I came just for one night but I stayed 4 nights ! Why ? Because Nazer and Firdous made me feel at home and we have a very interesting chat about life ! Also the WiFi was working perfectly for my job and the hot water to take a shower 🚿 was perfect! The fireplace is so nice for meeting and talking about whatever! Thanks guys for your hospitality 🫶🏻 I totally recommend this place ! ( Also the price is quite good ! 👌🏻 ) 😁
