Location was perfect, the hotel blended the original pup/inn with the hotel very well maintaining the cosy, warm feel of the historic building. The Staff made the hotel exceptional they were all friendly, welcoming and helpful. And to top it off the food was excellent and plentiful.

The caravan was lovely and cosy. I especially liked the homely little touches such as the soft furnishings colour scheme and the artificial plants and candles that made it feel relaxing and comfortable. The location for us as visitors from the Isle of Man was perfect. It was an unexpected stay due to ferry cancellation. Its literally next to the Ferry Terminal and we had no idea that this little Leisure Park was even there, despite driving through Heysham many many times. It's a short drive to the cute Old Heysham Village (great food at The Royal Hotel), lovely walks, Morecambe, Lancaster, Lakes and nearby villages. We found the Toby Carvery near Morecambe on the last day - the food and service are great and the Sunday carvery fabulous. They do an All You Can Eat breakfast too, which we would have done if we'd known about it sooner. The hosts of the caravan were extremely responsive and friendly too. The bed was the comfiest away from home that we've ever slept in! I need to know what mattress it was as I want one!!

You will enter as a guest and leave as a new friend. Lovely little pets too. No pets near your room but you get chance to make friends with the furries if you love animals
