Beautiful location. Wonderfully quaint castle. We drove a good distance out of our road to stay at the castle and it was more than worth it. Our only regret was that we didn't spend more time there.

The room was bright and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful, when we asked about dining out or finding a laundromat. The full English breakfast was piping hot and delicious . There was also cereal and fruit on the side and lots of hot coffee, tea or cold beverages. We sat in the breakfast room and watched the boats go by. we also enjoyed the pub right downstairs for food and drinks.

It's a solid apartment with a great view. It's well furnished with the built-in necessities, such as cooker, fridge etc. The shower was good. Beds are very comfy. Good supply of kitchen utensils. Not far from a bus stop into town and further afield. (But the negative of the apartment's default freezing cold temperature overwhelms all of these plusses. :-( )
