The house is historic but well maintained, the whole place feels great and authentic. The staff was always nice and helpful. The place is very close to the marina and the city center. Plenty of restaurants are close by. Breakfast was nice, though you had to book a time slot in advance.

This hotel is situated just behind the dunes in Ahlbeck, just metres from the long promenade and sandy beach of the Baltic Sea. It offers fine cuisine and a 2,000 m² spa area with a special children’s/family section. We got a great suite. The food was excellent and the staff very friendly. Wonderful location virtually on the promenade.

Built in 1908, the Travel Charme Kurhaus Binz features classic beach-style architecture and spacious non-smoking rooms and suites. All rooms include air conditioning and cable TV. Bathrobes and slippers are also provided free of charge. Staying at the Kurhaus Binz was like being on a Silversea small luxury cruise. The receptionist who welcomed us on the evening we arrived could not have been friendlier or more helpful. The staff in the breakfast room were charming and efficient and brightened every morning. Our room was very comfortable and bigger than we anticipated. We appreciated all the storage, and the well-stocked fridge of soft drinks. The pool and sauna/hammam area were great to have on the rainy days and after long walks on the coast. And of course the location was absolutely superb.
