David and I have stayed at many Bed and Breakfast accommodations . We went up to Mount Tamborine for our Wedding Anniversary. We chose The Mountain Sanctuary B&B as it was in such a perfect location. At one end of the street is the entrance to the most beautiful Rainforest bushwalks, and the other end of the street, is the Township with lots of cute cafes, restaurants and Arty/Crafty-Type shops. All just a short walk, so one can parks ones car and is an easy walk to both (the entrance to the bushwalks are only a few steps away from the property.... the township maybe approx 1km walk ). Mountain Sanctuary is purpose-built as a proper Bed and Breakfast accommodation (which is a rare find these days), so the 3 rooms available all have their own huge bathroom and deck and are very private with keys to lock ones door if required. Our bathroom had the hugest Spa bath that we have every seen in our travels. (There was also a separate shower). Everything was absolute quality, including thick towels and quality bedding (our bed also had an electric blanket and there was an aircond for with heating and cooling,) It was such amazing value for all the inclusions.... we felt like we were staying in a 5-Star Hotel. There is also a Guest's kitchen, a proper separate breakfast room and a Guest lounge area with a fireplace. A Continental breakfast (which was so delicious) was included, and we enjoyed this both mornings. (As I am Gluten Free I was very kindly provided with some options to suit my dietary restrictions as well as non-dairy milk,) The owners of this beautiful piece of paradise were the most lovely Hosts you could imagine and made our anniversary so memorable. Thank you for such a Wonderful experience. We will tell all our friends about our amazing time at your lovely Mountain Retreat.
