the staff and manager were extremely nice and helpful. we booked on same day and were in a hurry and no cancellation applied. when we arrived we were not happy about the location as it was far from where we needed to stay, so the manager upgraded our room for free but still we wanted to cancel. the manager took the time to speak to customer service and cancel our booking for free and full refund. such a nice and helpful person. i highly recommend if your looking for an affordable place to stay with friendly staff.

So much... This is a 'old style' motel {or motor-court} where you drive up to your door and park there. It has been maintained perfectly with modern goods, The king bed is awesome, the room is amazingly quiet and EVERYTHING is so clean. We had a microwave, coffee maker (w/ supplies), a good sized fridge, satellite TV and enough towels & bathroom supplies to withstand a good sized flood. The room was very comfortably warm (cold weather) and quiet (beside Hwy 401}. Next door is a 24 hr. variety store, gas station and A&W.

An incredibly charming, thoughtful place with a personal touch. Beautifully decorated and perfectly located within walking distance to shops/cafés/waterfront. Breakfast was probably the finest I had in a Canadian hotel/inn. A small but qualitative selection of fruit, pastries and savory options. Staff was lovely and made us feel very welcome. The other travelers were either very quiet or the house is generally not particularly noisy. A wonderful, memorable stay.

Simply charming accommodation in a great location with good proximity to downtown. Decor is sympathetic to the history of the property but with 21st century functionality. The fire pit and comfy seating on the porch was very welcome on the rainy evening we stayed. Extra touches such as the pink fizz and chocolates in the room were a delightful surprise. The inn keeper was very helpful on the one occasion we needed assistance.

The location is accessible to lots of shopping and restaurants by car. I liked Mary, the host. She was very accomodating, and pleasant. The room was clean and neat and very comfortable. There was a private outdoor area and a fridge and coffee and tea making facilities, so I had what I needed to feel at home and comfy. It was a quiet place, which was what I wanted. I'll go back.
