Sylvia and the Fairhome Bed and Breakfast were fantastic. Sylvia is friendly, welcoming, and makes sure her guests are well cared for. The location right next to a 17 hectare garden was lovely. We enjoyed being close to downtown and easy access to travel without being in the loud, touristy area. The grounds are beautiful and the penthouse suite was spacious and comfortable. We will stay here again when we return to Victoria.

The rooms were exceptionally clean, the kitchen well-appointed, linens spotless and many little extra touches like tissues and high quality toiletries, tea, coffee, and bottles of water in the fridge. The breakfast buffet was always freshly stocked and attended by a staff member, and the owner came around at breakfast time to welcome and talk to guests. We also were able to reserve the free e-bikes and kayaks during our stay. This is an amazing bonus which made our stay in Victoria memorable. The Robin Hood is a classic Canadian motor hotel that has become an iconic part of the neighbourhood. Locals we met praised its commitment to high standards and great value for families. We will definitely stay there again when are next in Victoria.

First of all, it is a beautiful Victorian mansion with a lovely garden. The furnishings are exquisite. Our room was very comfortable, and overlooked the garden. We particularly enjoyed the large bath tub. Thomas was great, very helpful and a pleasure to talk with. He told us the history of the house, and we also looked at pictures and read some more. He also provided us with a delicious full breakfast - yogurt with fruit and granola, blueberry muffins and Eggs Benedict. My husband had his with ham, and I had the Vegetarian version with avocado - two thumbs up! It was truly hard to leave this very special place. We will be back!!
