The hotel is really charming and with some modern details. The breakfast was nice, well assorted, with a beautiful view. Highlights: - the attention of the owner, he is really attentive and charismatic, he makes you feel at home. - cleanliness! Everything impeccable. (Tip: Don’t miss out on the little patio on the 3rd floor).

The owner allowed us to use his washing machine and his tumble dryer. For breakfast there was one boiled egg per person, a glass of orange juice and a glass of water. Also 1 croissant per person and a small slice of cake. I wasn't really expecting a very big breakfast to get in this place. The owner was really nice and offered help despite he didn't speak English and had to use a Google translator. There was free parking available.

Far and yet close, this place overlooks the beautiful lake and provides great view of the island of Brissago. The street that separates the main hotel (Art Hotel) and the apartments, has a direct bus connection to Ascona and Locarno. It was very quiet and picturesque place to walk or simply to sit at the balcony and soak in the view. Additionally the hotel Kayak and Canoes are free for hotel guests, perfect for summer days.

The hosts are super nice, met us at the parking to guide and show the way to the B&B, explained everything very well, and even though we were 1h late for the breakfast, prepared it fresh. The location is amazing in the historic town and just few meters from the lake. The place is in the historic building and has a nice charm, nevertheless the room and facilities are very convenient.
