Really friendly and helpful staff. The fish meal we had was excellent as was the wine choice. Everything is really clean and we had a great room with a view of the mountains.

The hotel staff were helpful and pleasant. They allowed us to store our luggage there on the final day after checkout so we were able to enjoy the day without pulling suitcases around. The location was great! We were a few blocks from the train station and a half block from the tram going up the mountain. The views from the hotel were amazing!

The Chalet Rosa is a 360 years old building in Lauterbrunnen, 11 km from Interlaken and it offers rooms with private bathroom and breakfast every morning. Free WiFi is available in public areas.

Most of the rooms provide views of the surrounding mountains and the bathrooms are fitted with a shower.

The location of the chalet is spectacular. It is next to the Staubbach Fall and my room has the view of the village and mountain. The room is clean and tidy. Carol, the hostess, is simply marvelous and very thoughtful. She let me check in early, which was extremely helpful since I have a luggage and backpack. The breakfast is delicious and Carol made the best scramble eggs. She gave me direction to places and which attraction to visit. I worked during my stay and the wifi connection was sufficient. I would definitely stay here again.

The area is very nice and at a good price. - The host was respectful and communicative all the time. - 5 mins walk to the centre and ski lift. - The flat is refurbished and it looks like new - It has EVERY little thing that you can think of. Previous clients have left spices and oil which we could use, and then left some more of what we bought for the next. I loved it! - Shower is good - Area is very quiet - Cheapest rental in the area

Although we booked a budget room we had a balcony with two chairs and table, with fabulous views of the mountains. Really enjoyed sitting out there, watching the light change on the hills whilst drinking the free mini bar contents! Lovely swimming pool which was really quiet and great location in the centre of the village. Would really recommend this hotel.

We enjoyed the splendid view over Wengen and the fantastic mountain panorama. The room was very cozy, there were plenty of hangers in the cupboards, the room was very quiet and well equipped, one could not hear any noise from the corridor nor from the adjacent rooms. The mattresses are very comfortable. There is an excellent breakfast buffet with fresh bread from the village bakery. We were welcomed everywhere by very friendly and helpful staff at the reception & at breakfast.

Great location. Close to stores, restaurants, train station. Nice balcony. Helpful staff. Community fridge to use. Great value for the price (you should realize with the price that accommodations are not luxury). Comfortable beds. Clean.

Incredible hotel! Great location with an amazing view of the mountains. Just a 5 minute walk from Wengen station which is only a 15 minute train ride from Lauterbrunnen. Wengen is so lovely and a lot quieter than Lauterbrunnen. The buffet breakfast was excellent, so much choice. Downstairs had free tea and coffee all day and night, games to play and books to read. Staff were very helpful and gave us great advice about what to see.

Location was good, pretty central to Wengen. A steep little hill up into town but not too far and the holiday company will shuttle you up in a van if you want. We walked though which was fine, even with ski boots on. The apartment is very nice. Great little kitchen with everything you need to cook, nicely decorated and very clean. The little terrace outside is lovely, quite private and gets the sun in the afternoon. A nice quiet corner of Wengen but only a 5 min walk from the station.

I loved staying here, it’s such a special, fairy-tale kind of place in the perfect location. The hotel is so charming inside, and it feels like a bygone era. It is quaint but in good condition. Take time to enjoy sitting in the lobby and linger at breakfast time. Room was warm and pleasant. Will definitely go back.
