The apartment is super clean, comfy bed, mosquito protection, AC and a balcony/terrace. Truly a recommendation! If a little kitchen would be available we would extend our stay to a much longer period.

It’s a small place with a nice garden, therefore it’s pretty calm. The room’s decoration looks very good. Really loved the vibe of this place and the food they serve is delicious. The owners of the place are very nice and helpful! They have two lovely dogs as well. You can book tours directly from them and they have a laundry service as well.

We loved the location - so peaceful and beautiful, and so many interesting birds and animals. Our hosts were kind and helpful and the food was awesome. We had breakfast and dinner there every evening. We especially loved all the sunsets and walking on the nearly deserted beach. Would definitely stay there again and will recommend to all our friends and family.

Javier and his son were very friendly and welcoming. We took the Corcovado tour with Javier and got to see lots of wildlife. Javier made a special effort to ensure we saw Toucans back in Drake Bay after being unsuccessful in the National Park. Kitchen facilities were good with free filtered water. Room was comfortable and the air conditioning was fab (despite comments we read before, we didn’t have to pay additional for this but it was important to be considerate with its use)

Absolutely wonderful stay! I got welcomed by the very friendly and helpful owner and a baby Tucan that he rescued from the road! The location is beautifully situated in the jungle and gives you the opportunity to spot many animals around the property! Nice and spacious rooms as well. I would love to come back!

We were coming to Drake bay by boat and we were worried before booking how from the boat we will get to our room, how far it will be.., but experience was a piece of cake. A kind guy(probably owner) came with his ATV, took our bags, and we had to walk a few hundred meters, and that's it. Also, when booking a room with him, he can help you to book tours in corcovado, like diving, snorkeling or hike tours

The house is located in a very peacefull environment few minutes walking from everything. There are only 3 rooms available so the place is always quiet, the kitchen is fully equipped and extremely clean as the rest of the house. The terrace outside is perfect to relax after a tiring day and to have dinner. You can chose your breakfast between a couple of options, the traditional one with gallo pinto is fullfilling and delicious! We had a beautiful time here and i highly recommend this place. It would take 45 minutes walking along a very dusty road to get to town, so we chose taxi transport every time. However, it had tons of character, was clean and quiet, felt very safe, and had interesting and friendly guests. The “private” beach was lovely. Our room had a refrigerator (but there was a communal one nearby), air conditioning and a noisy ceiling fan. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Food was good but not especially inexpensive.
