Prettier than the pictures. We kept waiting to run into Julie Andrews😎 Staff was so friendly. Place was meticulous. Very quiet and simply felt special. Convenient to towns on either side of mountain. Stay here…you will love it.

The location of this stay is perfect- connected to public transport and not far away from the main sights at Berchtesgarden. The Watzmann Theme is a 2 minute walk from the location, adding to the attractiveness of the stay. The room was spotless. I was lucky enough to not have to share the bathrooms with anyone else since I arrived at a low peak season, but even so, I do not think this would be a problem since they are maintained with a high standard of hygiene. Frau Hanel is very friendly and hospitable. She is nice enough to take down breakfast requirements when you check-in and was very accommodating to special requests.

The room had everything needed, nice and clean bathroom, comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen. The Check-in is only until 6pm, but there is a possibility to pick up the keys from the key safe in case of later arrival which was a very nice surprise. Its not the cheapest accommodation especially counting in the tax for the stay, but we enjoyed the stay and would definitely come back in case we would be in this region.
