My wife and I have been traveling the world for a couple months now and the family that run this hotel have to be the most incredible hosts we’ve ever had. Egypt can be a little chaotic, so having them take care of us from start to finish was absolutely incredible. You’re not just staying at a hotel that overlooks the pyramids, you are becoming a part of their family. Besides from the incredible tours and drivers that they set up for us, our favorite memories were hanging out on top of the rooftop terrace getting to know everyone. Over the course of the 6 days we were there we became family. I will never forget our time in Egypt and it is because of the amazing staff at Crystal Pyramid Inn. I can’t thank them enough for everything they did for us. Do not hesitate to book, it will be one of the best stays you’ve ever had.

The owner Mahmoud is a cosmopolitan optimistic and helpful man who speaks perfect English and knows everything you would ever need to know about Cairo and Egypt. Truly helpful and kind. The manager Esra, and other workers I met, Dua, Yusuf, Machmood, and Nusa are also incredibly helpful, easy-going and all around great people. Esra is also the very best guide to the pyramids that there is! Before booking with anyone else I recommend checking to see if she's available. I loved the beds, the room, the view, the cleanliness, comfort and style and they even have an incredibly affordable and delicious cafe right on the roof! I liked this hotel so much that I extended my stay beyond my original plans. If you're reading this and looking for a place within a two minute walk of the pyramids and in this price range, you're pretty lucky, because you won't need to continue searching. This is definitely the right place!

Great location, 500m walk to the entrance for the pyramids. Rooms are good and comfy, also a nice view of the pyramids from the roof terrace. What really makes this place is Ibrahim and his family, they are incredibly welcoming and friendly which is wonderful after you spend your day being harassed at the pyramids. We stayed 3 nights and had dinner and breakfast every day here also, super delicious.

The hotel is small and comfortable. They have delicious food. And they serve a wonderful breakfast including a variety of fresh fruit. highly recommended
