Carlos and Linda were very good hosts, the Cortijo is very nice with a homely feel. It has a nice terrace with a pretty view of the mountains. We had a great cooked British breakfast that was included in the price, and enjoyed chatting with our hosts, and meeting their nice cat Darla. Also good air conditioning, and a TV and DVD.

To begin with there was loads of fresh fruit to choose from, more than some 3 or 4 star hotels. It was a quiet location within a lovely small village. There was a gorgeous garden with swimming pool and plenty of beds/chairs.. Deana, the owner, made us both very welcome and nothing was too much trouble for her. I am hoping to go back next year. I called this a Boutique Bed and Breakfast.

We stopped in room 1 with its own private terrace with sun loungers, tables and chairs and great views. No problem with shared bathroom which is of a high standard like everything else. Breakfast was of great choice and quality produce and plentiful. Excellent location in a building full of character for a peaceful retreat.

There is use of lounge and kitchen, toiletries and hairdryer available if required. Very welcoming and amenable to requests and information on the area (and anything else you might need to know as Wag is very knowledgeable). Very relaxed atmosphere. The rooms are basic but the bed was comfortable and the room was clean, the hotel was quiet. Ideal for us and will be using it again

They suggested a great place to eat not far away and made us feel right at home! Ask for Room Number One which has a large privcate terrace if travelling as a couple (as it has only one double bed). Excellent breakfast in the morning - on Fridays nights they can also prepare dinner but we did not ask for that. Two very friendly residents young cats that they rescued (BONUS points for that in my books) :) :)MoniqueYoung couple

The apartment is very comfortable and well equipped with the use of a lovely pool. Steve and Mandy are great hosts on site. The road to the property is a bit of a challenge but well worth it.
