Clean and well lit rooms with amenities which you don't find easily in one place... prompt response for any requests.. and the courtesy of the manager Nick who went out of his way to carry our bags to our room as we were dead tired...and also the supportive behavior of house manager Paul...very cooperative personnel and very well organised property. Highly recommended for stay in Basingstoke...

a perfect small hotel in the middle of the English countryside ! the rooms were very clean and spacious and even though the room looked to the street , it was very quiet ! Breakfast was full English and we enjoyed every bite of it ! we really liked the pub right on the ground floor and it had a wonderful garden to sit outside but its people is always the best asset ! John was a marvellous host , always smiling and friendly and along with his wife , they run together the family business! we enjoyed every moment there , thank you again for your hospitality!

Nice calm ambience - although sometimes more like the Marie Celeste Rooms much quieter than one might expect for the location. Excellent parking - ideal for long wheelbased vehicles Very clean and well equipped gym. Hotel was spotlessly clean and beds comfortable with good blackout curtains Basingstoke Centre within walking distance - one and a half miles and a pub on the other side of the dual carriageway via an underpass (no food though!) a short walk away through the Popley housing estate

I have stayed here a couple of times before as my children live near by so very convenient for me. The hotel is not a boutique hotel and doesn’t pretend to be. For the price the facilities are great. The room big and very comfortable bed. Hot shower, big white towels, very friendly staff, that’s a big plus. Free car parking at weekends. Very quiet. It’s restaurant is like a sports bar, so not my thing but food is okay. Typical British dinner. The breakfast is really good. Worth having.

Fully provisioned for a relaxed stay, with even a touch of luxury. Amazing shower and all the tech and kitchen gadgets are available. With all sorts of breakfast options to accommodate my GF diet. Our host is lovely, met us at the door to explain everything and made the check out easy for us. Very impressed with this place, being just off the M3 its easy to find and close to shops and restaurants, but quiet at night. Thanks for everything.

A quaint characterful cottage in a charming rural location in the grounds of the host's house. Secure accommodation and parking within gated grounds. Very convenient for Basingstoke and the M3 but a peaceful and quiet location. The host was very friendly.

Lovely, classy, comfortable and quiet, a large room with a big TV and beautiful bathroom, perfectly clean. And it was cheap! I regret I only needed to stay one night, I'd have happily stayed there for a month!
