The location and the price were why I picked Moraybank BnB. It is such a lovely house and the owner has really done an excellent job keeping it up. The room I stayed in was absolutely fabulous both for comfort and amenities. The ensuite bathroom with its lovely tub was perfect! The West End's excellent breakfasts feature local ingredients where possible, and will set you up for the day ahead. Enjoy locally produced specialty sausages, black pudding and bacon or Scottish smoked salmon with free frange scrambled eggs.

Southbank is a Georgian town house in the middle of Elgin and the Whisky Trail. It is a few minutes' walk from the town centre's shops and restaurants.

The guest house is over 200 years old and located on a quiet road. It is popular with those keen on golf, fishing, or seeking castles and malt whisky.

I don't know where to start. The room was huge, the bathroom a very good size. Plenty of parking. The house is beautiful and Isabel couldn't do enough for us. I asked if I could hang some clothes on the line and she asked if I needed to do a load of washing. Breakfast was fabulous, coffee great and lots of it. Eggs and bacon cooked to perfection. If you have a problem with stairs tell Isabel and she can help. If you are looking for somewhere that has a homely feel and a wonderful host, stay here.
