John is an amazing host and his studio was the best conclusion to our holidays in Scotland. It is located in a wonderful position, with a view of the castle and surrounded by a lovely garden. I have never been to such an elegantly decorated studio. The cleanliness and the standard of the furniture and bathroom products are just impressive. John and his wife provide you with everything you may need with generosity and warmth. The studio is also the perfect venue for breakfast-lovers. After a relaxing night in the comfort of the studio, you'll be served a rich breakfast fit for a king. The stay is worth every single penny and is unforgettable. Thank you John for your care! It makes a difference!

Great location, room nice clean and bigger than I was expecting. Staff in the hotel were very friendly and check in was straight forward. Having the Wetherspoons below was great. Even with it being above a pub it was very quiet.

It’s in a great location, nice and quiet, with lovely grounds, plenty parking. the rooms were well appointed and comfortable. The food is really very good too! Super steaks and venison. Massive choice of gin and good wine and whisky selection. The people /staff we met, especially those running the bar/ restaurant were all very friendly and helpful. The gym is excellent, lots of cardio machines and a very well stocked weights area. We didn’t use the pool but it also looked super.
