Very comfortable room,.completed to a really high standard. We were even given an upgrade to our room! We absolutely loved the Badger Bar. It was by far the best place we stayed on our trip to the U.K. It's historical, with lovely.decor and extremely clean & comfortable rooms. The bed was comfy, the shower's water pressure was fine. Soap, shampoo & lotions were all provided, as well as coffee, tea, & cookies. The food was great; they serve a wonderful breakfast, with a great variety of choices, all delicious. The dinners served in the pub were fabulous - again, many choices, including the best fish & chips ever, not to mention the desserts! The staff were awesome, so friendly and helpful. And what a great location! Wonderful walks and trails in every direction, & the bus stop just steps away if you need to travel further afield And so much history! Wordsworth lived quite nearby!. Best of all, every night they feed the badgers and you can go out and watch. It was great fun!

Absolutely loved everything and couldn't fault it, the hosts are really kind and make you feel very welcome. The location is perfect with Ambleside 3 mins downs the road and Windermere only another 10 mins. Loads of animals on the property (which is beautiful) which just added to the experience. Can't wait to return.
