It feels like home❤️ When we were planning our visit, I really wanted to stay in the heart of the village and The Strathallan was perfect. Our room was cozy with all the comforts needed. David and Valerie are the heart and soul of Strathallan and make you feel so very welcome. OH MY WORD, breakfast everyday was amazing, Chef David is a class act in the kitchen. Oh night we mentioned just going to get Chinese take-away and he said he would set a table for two in the breakfast room for us to use to eat our dinner. You are provided with supplies to make your own breakfast, which had a variety of choice and was well received. The pub was in a great location to explore areas nearby. Kate and Terry are lovely people that go out of their way to make your stay as comfortable as possible. We arrived a bit late and Kate managed to get us a reservation in a nearby inn for dinner (which was very good, by the way, The Star Inn in Porkellis). We did not bring any rain clothes and on our one walk day it was pouring down. Kate let us borrow her own rain suit, which enabled us to keep to our plans. Breakfast was delicious and freshly cooked by Kate (pancakes, yum). Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay.

The vegan breakfast was the best we've had on our holiday, the house is beautiful, the owner was very friendly and helpful and the room was spacious and lovely. The location was great with a park just along the road and a short walk to all of Bath's attractions. Highly recommended.
