Un fussed and friendly. Fantastic location and position to watch the busy port's comings and goings. We booked evening meal at their restaurant next door. Their fish menu was extensive and they knew what they were talking about. Even the fish and chips I chose was exquisite. Breakfast was alao served in the same restaurant. Cooked option extensive and very good although the continental option could do with some choice and jams, honey etc for the toast. None the lees the whole experience stays at 10.

Location is awesome. 2 blocks from CalMac ferry terminal, 1 block around the corner from Scotrail. So quiet, warm, we'll appointed. Fridge, kettle., ensuite. Shops close by. Excellent for foot travelers. Landlady could not have been more welcoming. Thank you

Although check-in was supposed to be 4pm - to me very late! - I was upgraded and allowed to go to my large room with great views of the Isles at 3pm. There was no hair dryer in my room, but the charming Brazilian member of staff I accosted found me one. (He should have a bonus!) The bathroom was large but there was no shelf. Breakfast was outstanding. I had continental - lots of fresh fruit salad, cereals, pastries, juices and no hot drinks machine!

I had to leave early and the cooked breakfast is not available before 8, but they made me a lovely granola/ yoghurt/ fresh fruit breakfast to put in the fridge in the room, so it was perfect.

The room and the ensuite had stunning views from the harbour. The staff were incredibly accommodating and friendly and even catered for my gluten free needs. The b and b is an easy and short walk from the shops but quiet. I would definitely stay here again.LouiseYoung couple
