I will have to say the best part was meeting Michael and Claire. They are such wonderful couple and amazing hosts. Ask for local recommendations about food, restaurants, ice cream, and places to visit - they always have delightful ones! The place is absolutely stunning! We chose to stay at Ebberley Escapes because it is near St. Giles in the Wood, the village where my wife's great grandparents were married and to visit the RHS Garden Rosemoor. We came with another couple. I don't think we could have made a better choice. The accommodations were excellent. The rooms were well appointed, and the beds were very comfortable. The property is in a quiet location making for a good night's sleep. Kevin and Maggie were great hosts. The breakfasts were so good. Everything was "farm fresh," particularly the chicken and duck eggs that came from the on-property hens and ducks. There is a nice garden behind the main house that is ideal for relaxing, and a larger field with a walking path, perfect for an early morning stroll. On our second evening, it was raining and we didn't want to drive out for dinner, so we brought in snacks, beer and wine for a relaxing evening with our friends. Kevin and Maggie brought glasses, dishes, silverware out to the dining room for our little party. Ebberley Escapes was the perfect place for our weekend in Devon.

Each room at Hollamoor Farm is elegantly furnished with antique fabrics and rustic chests of drawers. Rooms have bottled water, and plenty of storage. Bathroom facilities are either en suite or private just outside of the bedroom. One of the rooms is in the converted barn and it boasts a spacious seating area, a private entrance and a staircase leading up to the room.
