Excellent value for money. The location is perfect, very close to the beach and opposite of the mini market and the bakery. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We had room No. 1 and it had a balcony we could sit which was very nice.

We liked being a few km from the coast , great views, quiet and a cooling breeze. If you get a taxi to the top of the Agia Irini gorge you can walk back direct to Spiti Mas. Not too far away (about 30 metres) is a lovely restaurant serving proper Cretan food with a smile.

I was amazed at how extremely (really!) clean our little apartment was. The shower has a very practical shape and construction, which allows for comfort, shelving space and does not flood! Last but not least, the owners: a lovely family, who also run the store nearby: thank you for everything! The homemade biscuits and bottle of wine waiting for us were a lovely surprise! Great location as it's extremely quiet without noise from any restaurants/bars or other accommodation, and you're only 2 minutes walk from the beach.

The private courtyard was lovely to sit in with complimentary wine after the journey to Sougia. The hotel was on the edge of town so rather quiet and peaceful. It was only a few minutes stroll to the town and the sea.
