The property is beautifully mainted our host Loraine and Noel were very gracious and welcoming .they helped us settle in our room after a long day of travel and hike . They were very considerate and let us use their plates in dining room after hours and cleared our plates and these small things really made us very grateful to them . Catherine, our wonderful hostess, could not possibly have offered a more well-designed, thoughtfully and elegantly furnished, suite of rooms for this visit! We dined out before we arrived. Catherine gave us a quick tour of each suite, what was where, and left us to enjoy our evening. The morning brought a kitchen filled with two types of bread, plus croissants, ham, cheese, butter, homemade local jams, orange juice, milk, 3 kinds of coffee, a French press, several Fortnum & Mason teas, and yogurt. One could have brought the leftovers out for a picnic, with a cooler handy!

What a wonderful place! Cahergal Farms is exceptionally beautiful - a quiet, scenic bit of Irish countryside.
