Exceptional property located on a private estate. Glorious views of Lake Garda and Torri di Benaco. A very grand living space with wonderful art. However, without a doubt the hosts make it a very very special place, Nelly and Conrad offer a very warm welcome to their home and Nelly offers a delicious breakfast including her own brioche (croissants!).

Host was friendly and helpful. Sent photos to aide the arrival and check in process. Great community room, cozy, board games, outside games, swing, outside seating. Comfortable beds large shower. Beautifully decorated. Great view and access to lake! Room to water in less than 1 minute! Overall Fantastic! We went during off season and it was so peaceful, beautiful. Great location! Easy walk to town.

Getting the keys after check-in time was really easy - instructions were very clear. Communication with the staff before and during our stay was excellent. All staff are courteous, friendly and helpful. All the premises are pristinely clean. The room had ample space for storage, with additional wall hanging hooks and at least 5 electrical sockets, a very comfortable bed with100% cotton sheets and good quality pillows; a good size refrigerator under the desk. The air conditioning unit was very effective, and the TV was of a decent size. The bathroom was new and modern, with plenty of towel rails, big vanity mirror with lights, electrical shaving point and an excellent shower unit with shower seat, nice white towels and shower mat; good quality toilet tissue alongside a basket containing complementary toiletries and two soap dispensers. The building is very spacious, with wide staircases and corridors. It's full of history, for example, the “cucinone” the old kitchen/dining room on the mezzanine floor, the chapel on the first floor and the old study by the entrance door, where luggage can be stored after check-out, if necessary. There is a big communal balcony on the first floor with wonderful views. Breakfast is charged for separately, but very good value and can be enjoyed on the patio, weather permitting. Unlike previous reviewers, we found the coffee to be very good! The old part of Torri is limited to traffic and access to the hotels by car is not possible. Before arriving, study the map of this small town and plan how to get to the hotel. The quickest access from the main road is on foot through Vicolo Fosse. Quickly unload any cases and passengers on or around the bus stop on the main road (via Gardesana) and then drive to the car park. The parking by the castle costs £20 per day, which is out of control of the hotel.

A very welcoming, homely, clean, “inn”. We would definitely recommend it and if we were to visit Torri again would choose to stay here. The family are terribly kind and went out of their way to help us on our first holiday with a <1 year old. The room we had was perfect. We had enough space to put up our travel cot and store three suitcases. We even had a little balcony to ourselves (there is another for the other three rooms, in this part of the hotel, to share). The food is excellent - both breakfast and dinner (incredible value). A great selection of reasonably priced local wines, as well. The hotel is close to town and all the amenities. Torri is arguably the prettiest town on this part of the lake. bustling but not too busy. A wonderful waterfront, away from the main road. A good selection of shops, some tourist attractions, ferry options and endless eateries and a few bars. Plus a lovely little beach with a beach hut and toilet.

Amazing breakfast buffet, great variety. Staff super friendly and helpful and attentive. Carlotta the owner spoke very good English. Nice to have a pool to cool off and the lake was a short walk down the hill. Highly recommend this place and would come back.

Excellent breakfast. Super host. Nice view on the lake and mountains from both balcony. 3 or 4 restaurant within 5 to 10 minutes walking distance if you are in a reasonable shape. We are in our sixties and had no problem to walk to theses restaurants. Very quiet

beautiful house and very cozy! the host is super friendly and courteous! She helped us plan our trip and gave us valuable tips. Breakfast was great with homemade jams and sweets. we really enjoyed staying at Ca’Malfer and would come back again!

the property is absolutely gorgeous!!! We loved the location in this little town up the hills - it’s like an old Italian movie coming to life. The staff is so welcoming and friendly and we felt a little bit like being part of the family. our room was very spacious and we had a beautiful view overlooking a field. Every morning we had espresso and the buffet variated daily - we could hardly decide between fruits, granola, Italian ham and cheese and freshly baked pastries - so we just had all of it;) After spending the day exploring the lake it really felt like coming home. we enjoyed the sunset with a glass of wine and selfmade caprese (you can store your groceries in their fridge) in the garden, with cats running around. Our stay couldn’t have been more perfect and we will definitely come back!
