It was in the centre of Varenna so very close to all of those shops, beach and museum. It was also very quiet inside the actual property and the thick balcony window helped cancel out some noise as well.

This beautiful property is located literally a few steps from Varenna's historical town square and is so convenient to go anywhere. Varenna's two landmark villas and famous lakeside promenade are only a couple of minutes walk from this property and the ferry terminal is just 10 minutes walk along the gorgeous promenade. We stayed in the Blue Room and absolutely loved it. Everything (bed, furniture, TV, shower, toilet, etc.) Is brand-new and the room is so beautifully decorated, airy, and very chic. The room is also so squeaky clean, which is important during the pandemic, and we loved the high ceiling, which made the room feel even larger. Special thanks goes to Diana, who owns this property. She is so kind. She took care of us well and made our stay in Varenna extra special. If we can return to Varenna again, we will go back to Diana's property in a heartbeat. Grazie mille, Diana!!!

Beautiful apartment, nicely decorated, great view, lovely balcony, excellent location, good services, very good nearby bars/restaurants, nice toiletries and kitchen implements, much appreciated snack items and coffee. In a word--en excellent property in a great location at a wonderful place.

The host greeted us at the rail station and helped us check in. Great breakfast hosted by a very nice lady. The room was clean and comfortable. it was located near the ferry dock and main walkway.

Lovely antique room in the center of the very small town of Varenna. Our room had shared bathroom (I actually wanted a private one, but didn´t read I had actually booked a shared one). The room is very large, nice and comfortable. The host is super kind. On top of the room, you have a shared dining area, very comfortable. And the bathroom is large, modern, confortable and super clean. You also have a lovely terrace/balcony looking at the lake. And the location is perfect, in front of the main church, close to the small central square, and close to the botanic gardens that can be visited in the Hotel Villa Cipressi (only 300m away). You can also acess the lake shore very easily. Great place to stay in Lake Como. You can easily reach Bellagio and Menaggio with the ferry. The port is close to the appartment (aprox 1000m). You can walk.
