The owner went out of his way to arrange site seeing and other tours for us, when available he would also drive us and take us places himself (anyplace close by free of charge). We liked that the property wasn’t right in the middle of town, we felt like we were in nature and got to see monkeys jumping through the trees just outside the place.

First and foremost, we thoroughly enjoyed the exceptional service provided by the proprietor of the establishment, Chandana, and his colleague, also named Chandana, who drives a tuk-tuk and offered general assistance throughout our stay. Our care began even before arriving at the place when Chandana arranged a complimentary transfer from the Dambulla bus stop. They also organised fantastic trips to the upper part of the Dambulla Cave Monastery and the Lion Rock in Sigiriya. Chandana, the tuk-tuk driver, was a wonderful companion, sharing insightful, non-generic knowledge about the area and the everyday life of its residents. Despite the modest cost of our stay, all meals were of high quality, and the atmosphere created by Chandana and the team was jovial. They even organised short walks to a scenic rock spot for sunset views over the jungle and Sigiriya rock in the distance, a thoughtful touch allowing guests to share a great view and engage in friendly conversation. The room exceeded expectations for the price, with the AC in perfect working order and a very comfortable bed. In summary, the concierge-level service, the location, and the half-board high-quality meals collectively made our stay truly exceptional. I highly recommend this place for solo, couple, and family travellers visiting Dambulla and Sigiriya.

It was the best place we stayed in Sri Lanka! The room is spacious, modern and brand new. Everything was super comfortable (bed, shower...). The staff are wonderful, they made us feel very welcome and helped us with everything we needed! The location is a bit far from the city, which is great because it's in the middle of peaceful nature and it's very easy to get a tuk tuk to go anywhere we need. We highly recommend it!

The room was separate from the main bungalow and was therefore very private. The location was also excellent - near the main streets with shops and yet off it so that it was very quiet. The owner upgraded us to the Double room with private bathroom, which was large, really comfortable and well equipped. The owners were very nice and helpful, e.g. they booked us a tuk tuk in very early morning. We rent there a scooter to go to Sigiriya and the city center. The location of the house is outside of the city in a quiet neighbourhood but not far away from the city.
