It was our first trip to Maldives and we went with our kids to this beautiful island of Gaafaru. There were stayed at Niru Isles and had the most wonderful time. The beds are the coziest, the food was delicious, it was a home away from home. We did snorkelling all organised by the owner of Niru and his brother. Every little detail of the stay was taken care of, from pick to drop back to transfer. We made amazing memories, and very grateful to Niru Isles for making it possible. We can't recommend this place enough! Two thumbs up!

Marianna Inn in Gaafaru is THE place to spend holidays. After the pandemic in the last years our family of five arrived to the island physically and emotionally exhausted. We spend three weeks in Gaafaru and it was so perfect, that it feels as if we were there much longer. We spent our holidays on Gaafaru-Island in the Monsun season but the weather was great. There were short and heavy rains from time to time but at least you don’t get a sunburn with sunblocks (50+) immediately after arrival. The most days the weather was great and sunny. Marianna Inn is the best option for sustainable tourism, as it is a family owned business integrated in the village. The restaurant serves local and international food, offers half and full pension packages and the breakfast buffet always included fruits and fresh espresso. By the way, espresso and water are 24/7 available. The food in the restaurant is delicious. Marianna Inn is a clean, simple but beautifully decorated, comfortable venue where one can truly feel at home. The owners and hotel staff are so honestly nice. They do everything possible and beyond to attend your wishes. It is really amazing. The organised tours to sandbanks, turtle, dolphin or shark watching etc. are really worth it. Some of the best snorkelling experiences ever, unforgettable. The village of Gaafaru has a designated beach for tourists wishing to bathe in swimming shorts/bikini. Should you be willing to bathe with your clothes on (covering your shoulders and knees) you can also bathe in any other beach in the island with the locals. The people of the village are spontaneously friendly and inclusive. This has to do with a good quality of schooling with all younger people speaking English as a second language, but also with a good health care. The island has one medical doctor and five nurses. These six people were fighting the pandemic effectively.

Amazing staff, clean and very comfortable room and very yummy food. Everything is perfect from the day we arrived 'til the day we leave. Thank you very much Zia and the team for arranging the turtle snorkeling trip, the best experience. That make our holiday exceptional. Highly recommended and will definitely going back again. Not to forget that the guest house is only 2-3 minutes away from private bikini beach. Keep up the good work guys.
