Lynn was a fantastic host, we arrived with the late ferry from Picton and she provided great instructions how to find the location as Google Maps is misleading, and gave us such a warm welcome despite it was already very late. The breakfast the next morning was fantastic (especially the home-made granola), so even our stay was very short it was such a joy to visit this location!

This location was great for me and my husband as we were exploring Wellington. It is a 15-20 minute drive away from the downtown and it was in a very quite neighborhood. The room was spacious with a huge closet that we were able to storage our luggage (1 large bag, 2 carry on rollers, and 2 backpacks) no problem. The host has a cat and dog which were very friendly. The host welcomed us to lounge in the living room area to chat, watch TV, have dinner, pet the animals, etc. The host gave us a shelf in the fridge to store any of our food items. She also allowed us to use her coffee machine to make lattes. Plates, cutlery, glasses, and cooking pans were also free for use. The bathroom was amazing! The tub is huge and perfect for soaking baths. The host provided soap and salt soak for the bath. The shower has a rainfall spout and the floors were heated, making it feel like a mini spa. The towels provided were fluffy and warmed on the towel rack warmer.

The hosts were exceptional in helping me, picking up at train station and drop off at ferry terminal. They gave me good advice with activities and even lent me a transportation card! It was easy to walk to/from the property to Te Papa and other places too. I would surely stay there again!!
