We had high expectations and were not disappointed. Wonderful feeling of hospitality and a bonus to be greeted by 3 lively dogs. The host was very friendly and accommodating and answered all our questions for the trip to Jabal al Akhdar the next day. Al Hamra village is not to be missed. A very nice museum nearby is not to be missed, exceptional staff showed us around an old house and life in former times. All in all a wonderful time in Al Hamra and Bait Al Aali

The inn was of mud brick and nicely decorated. Our room was very comfortable. The bathroom was very clean and the shower was lovely and hot. The location was great, near a deserted mud brick village and a date plantation. It was a short walk into town. From the Inn it’s a short drive to Misfah La Abriyyin, which is definitely worth a visit.

Great location for doing Jabal Shams balcony walk home. The host/owner was very nice and let me keep my things in the room until next day so that I could come after the hike and have a shower (which I did around 2-3 pm).

So far it is the only house on the street that has been renewed. Hopefully more will follow. The owner is lovely and very helpful with anything. We talked to him and he recommended some things to do around the town and also told us about the history of the house. The guest house is very quiet since there are only about ten rooms and it has a wonderful atmosphere because of the clay. From the rooftop terrace there is a gorgeous view over the oasis

Quiet, peaceful, mountain scenery spectacular, food absolutely delicious, owner very helpful, we had no vehicle but was still able to complete walks, room was clean and sufficient, great value, owners very polite and caring. Owner drove us down off mountain for a fee, loved every minute of my stay in the beautiful mountainside. It was a pleasure to be surrounded by nature and jaw dropping landscapes.
