My girlfriend and I had an incredible time at La Romantica. We got lucky and since it was during the week in mid-May, there were no other guests during our two nights and we had the place to ourselves. Top-notch service and accommodation from Harry who went out of his way to make sure we had a great time. He helped with travel recommendations, reserving the golf cart, booking an island-hopping tour, and even cooking us some of our meals! In the morning, cute wild animals come to the back deck and you can feed them scraps from your breakfast. The hot tub and back deck were fantastic, though watch out for mosquitos. A/C in the room worked great. It was really an unforgetable experience for us at La Romantica. Each day got more and more romantic...we couldn't believe it. La Romantica really lived up to the name and felt like a honeymoon. Isla Contadora is a magical place. Highly recommended.

We had a TV and access to Netflix and other programs. The breakfast was great. Both Nicola and Allen were great hosts. When we asked about anything, they were very helpful in answering our questions. They picked us up from the ferry and took us back to the ferry. Our room was cleaned everyday.

Contadora Island has very little on it, there are no restaurants, cafes or shops, just a few boutique hotels and lots of magnificent private villas for Panama City's high net worth crowd. For a few days of relaxing, boat watching and lying on an uncrowded beach with other adults it's bliss. Private beach, and gorgeous views of the sea and coastline. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly

Everything we needed for a short break away ,the breakfast was continental style ,fresh fruit followed by eggs (done as you wanted)toast ,butter and jam ,we loved the homemade bread , also juice coffee and tea , enough to set you up for the day . The room was very nice if simple ,but you needed no more .The staff were very friendly and on hand if you needed anything . We hired a golf cart for 1 day ,Gerald arranged this for us . We wished we had stayed longer ,and will definitely return .
