Biafo House, B&B in Skardu

A recently renovated bed and breakfast situated in Skardu, Biafo House features a garden. This bed and breakfast features free private parking, free shuttle service and free WiFi. The property has a 24-hour front desk, a traditional restaurant with an outdoor dining area.

The kitchen features a microwave, a fridge and a stovetop and there is a private bathroom with slippers and free toiletries. The bed and breakfast offers bed linen, towels and housekeeping service.

Faisal and wife are very friendly and welcoming. They are both educated and fully fluent in English, and Mrs Faisal is practically bilingual. They do their best to provide comfortable experience to the guests. Their home had a "design" feel to it. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom is spacious and modern. The wash basin is touch of class! We were served with nice welcome tea & snacks. Tea was also served many times during our stay. The hosts provided lots of information on culture, local attractions, and many different subjects. We enjoyed our pithy chat with them. The house is surrounded by small seating area in front and a garden at the back, both with shady trees, very pleasant. The location of the house is a bit far from the (hustle & bustle of) main bazaar and it's within walking distance to the interesting site of Buddha Rock, a must visit site if you are in Skardu! Faisal's wife kindly walked us up to it. The resort is perfect if you look for friendly life in a family home.

Had a very pleasant stay. Room was clean with great views of the valley and mountains. Staff provided all amenities on check in (clean towel, soap, toilet paper) and always made sure any of my requests were met. Breakfast was included for free and dinner provided at a cheap price. There were some issues with warm water for shower however staff gave me keys for another room that had a working shower AND a gas stove to warm water when I wanted for baths. Overall very happy and great value.

    The property manager was great. He arranged transport from and to the airport and helped us with advice on what to visit. He is very friendly and approachable and spent a lot of time helping us. Great atmosphere overall. The room was clean and comfortable and it has window 🪟 as well so it was nice and bright. The best we had so far for this price. Nice location as well and very quiet. Nice breakfast and friendly drivers as well.

    Arish doesn't have luxury in it's name for nothing. We booked the executive suite and it was amazing. - lots of powerplugs - lots of space, beds, sofas, tables, closets. - it has captivating interior aswell - warm water! - safe, tv, good internet, own breakfast corner in the spacious rooms, fridge. - friendly staff, i you need anything they get on it immediatly. Provide services like driver, breakfast and iron to use.

    Very friendly and helpful owner, who helped with arranging drivers, tours and had great food recommendations. The lodge is in a quiet area of Skardu and it's easy to walk to the main bazar. Internet and breakfast was good.

    Arish was a super clean luxury stay. Quiet location. Excellent food - even western foods. Comfortable bed. Very hot showers. Beautiful furnishings. Well kept gardens and lawns. Locked premises for vehicle. Staff were very helpful and kind.

    Run by a super helpful and friendly family. Small shop next door. City centre walkable but located in a nice quiet location. Nice backyard sitting area with great view and sunshine. Breakfast and dinner available (loved the soup, dumplings and kebab). Nothing is a hassle. No heating in room but super warm blankets. Hot water. Fast fibre wifi.
