The house is a traditional Mount Dora home and quite an experience. The apartment we had was furnished with beautiful pieces of the period. The old-style kitchen was impressive. There was even a screened porch overlooking the garden. Free parking was possible on the premises. Very friendly and helpful staff.

It is walkable to a few shops and restaurants. The hotel room had a good view of the water. The room itself was okay, typical older hotel, but clean.Thick towels, always a good sign. The bed was comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Fresh fruit at breakfast!

She helped us with a private issue and saved our day. Breakfast: very good, fresh cut fruit, eggs, homemade bread, meat. Parking was easy. Situation: perfect! We could safely walk everywhere: downtown (lots of restaurants), or to the park on the lake, or stroll through the lovely neighbourhood on safe walkways. The small town is romantic with many old trees and Spanish moss.
