The Kenwood Gables is a large and beautiful house located in the historic district of Saint Petersburg. It's decorated with a lot of taste and you immediately feel at home as you come in. Most importantly, the hosts (Reymond and Jason) are amazingly welcoming and helpful: you become part of that household and that creates a very different feeling from being in a hotel, however nice and pricey it may be. Breakfast is amazing: Jason cooks delicious daily specials ranging from omelettes to french toast. And the unexpected perk: since you share the breakfast table with the other guests and everyone's in a relaxed and happy mood, it's easy to get all acquainted and we had really nice and fun talks. I especially enjoyed that, as I was traveling alone.
