They wrote suggestions on what to do and where to eat, all of which all turned out to be great). They even lended me warmer clothes because we went up to the snow! We enjoyed playing cards and having a few beers at the in-house bar with them and the other guests. Breakfast was fabulous. The villa is a short walk to the town and although the walk is back up a hill it is a short walk and easy to do (even after an amazing burger from Herr Klaus)! Rooms were comfortable and very clean. View was incredible of the beautiful valley. Absolutely love our stay here. Highly recommend!

The room is nice and cosy and clean! One of the highlights of our stay is the breathtaking room view, overlooking the mountains. Waking up to the picturesque Austrian countryside nature was an absolute treat. It was an overall great atmosfere. Place is easy to reach by a car and within a small driving distance to local attractions like Garmisch or Zugspitze. Highly recommended and look forward to coming back in future!

Breakfast is delicious, fresh egg, they make ham and eggs if you want, fruit, and fresh warm bread every morning. The skilift is 5minutes by walk, if you don't want to walk in skiboot, skibus stops in front of the house. We've had an issue with our car, they advised us who can help very fast and on acceptable price. Rik can teach you to skiing, or he offering flying fish advantures as well. I highly suggest to spend some time with them on the ground floor at the breakfast area at evening, drink some beer together.

At Gasthof Erzherzog Rainer - Zimmer und Ferienwohnung, each room is fitted with a seating area. Hotel was interesting, incredibly cosy and our room was sweet, bed was very comfortable. All the owners were helpful and super nice. Restaurant downstairs couldn't have been better, food was just so tasty. We would recommend this family run Austrian style place to anyone who are hoping to stay in Kössen area. We loved our stay in Gasthof Erzherzog Reiner.
