It was across the road from a lovely cafe/bar/restaurant- and we had a $10 voucher provided as part of the stay too. I cannot recommend this property enough.

This weekend booking was a birthday treat for my brother and his wife, for my brother's birthday. They both had been working really hard & were stressed and exhausted - my brother regularly not sleeping well. They returned from their overnight stay at Hollyhock absolutely *glowing*, happy, and truly emanating *relaxation* from every pore! I haven't seen my brother so totally relaxed in ... since COVID began, really. (And he had slept exceptionally well, my sister-in-law smilingly told me.) They *loved* the wonderful breakfast provided and the light, airy, windowed "nook" in which they relaxedly partook of it, looking out onto the beautiful garden grounds. They will definitely come back - and we will come to Hollyhock too!

The property was absolutely stunning; driving in was like entering another world. The sheep, alpaca and two highland cows were a gorgeous unexpected surprise! The property itself was maintained so well, immaculately clean, the team were amazing and we appreciated the little touches. Exceeded our expectations, and will definitely be back.

Situated on a trout and sheep farm, with views of the valley, Tuki Retreat offers self-contained cottages. The cottages are nestled in the middle of the property, on the edge of a private lake. The property features an on-site restaurant. Beautiful location and people were super friendly .thank you for making my stay so special

The private bathroom has a shower and a toilet. Lovely location. Everything you could possibly need was provided and the cottage was very clean and comfortable. The owners were on site and were very helpful. They were particularly concerned we might be have been disturbed by a couple of larger groups in 2 of the other cottages,but there was no problem at all. I highly recommend a stay at Avoca Cottages!

The house is very comfortable and cosy. The garden is beautiful as well. The spa was the perfect way to relax after a long day of exploring the region.
